Google’s  annual developer festival, Google I/O, in its 2017th edition had many attractions. One of the key announcement from this Google I/O May, 2017 was TensorFlow Lite for machine learning. Making the limelight shine bright, Google has just released a developer preview of TensorFlow Lite for Android as well as iOS application developers.

The very idea behind this new library is to give unfold a Lite version of TensorFlow, which would push the possibility of machine learning on mobile and embedded devices for both Android and iOS app developers. Dave Burke, Vice-President of Android engineering, opined this announcement as crucial step toward enabling hardware-accelerated neural network processing across Android’s diverse silicon ecosystem.
